Peace through music
The merging of many different voices into a new unity is at the heart of the chamber orchestra PolyphonyIn a divided country such as Israel, this is also their mission: to bring together the Jewish, Christian and Arabic traditions through music. In addition to concerts, Polyphony also organises educational projects through which they reach more than 6000 young people. Founder Nabeel Abboud-Ashkar is supported in this by big names such as Daniel Barenboim, Yoko Ono and Renée Fleming. Following concerts at the White House and in the Elysée Palace, they will now be filling St Anne’s Church with the unifying sounds of their strings!
