Ensemble Théodora
The musical exchange between European nations lies at the heart of Ensemble Théodora’s work. In Tranquilles Cœurs, the ensemble explores the fascination with the French style in Germany at the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. French dances and lyrical forms were particularly influential, shaping musical life at the German courts to a significant extent. For this programme, they collaborate with soprano Hasnaa Bennani. The result is a refined Baroque programme rich in dance music and lyricism.
